From our Principal
End of Term Message
Dear College Community
As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding term, I want to take a moment to thank our students, staff and families for everything they have contributed to our College community.
It has been a term filled with achievement, opportunity and many moments that remind us of the wonderful young people we have at Marist. From academic success and creative pursuits, to sporting achievements, service, leadership and the many everyday acts of kindness and care that often go unnoticed, there is much to celebrate.
A special congratulations to our SATIS Girls Netball team, who have become State Champions after a fantastic performance against GYC. This is a wonderful achievement and a reflection of the commitment, teamwork and perseverance of our students and coaches.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of our 2027 Student Representative Council and College Captains.

As members of the SRC, they will have the opportunity to work closely with students, staff and the wider community to support student voice, promote school spirit and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our College.
On behalf of our entire community, I congratulate our newly appointed 2027 SRC and College Captains, and wish them every success in their leadership journey.
We have also celebrated some wonderful achievements this term through other sports, our musical, Science and other awards, enjoyed the creativity of students through writing and poetry, and seen students embrace the many opportunities available to them across the College. These experiences are an important part of a Marist education, helping our young people discover their gifts, develop confidence and contribute to the wider community.
I am currently in France, in the Lyon region, spending time learning more deeply about the Society of Mary and our Marist tradition. It has already been a wonderful and enriching experience, learning more about the history, mission and sacrifices of those who helped shape the Marist story. I look forward to returning to Marist and sharing some of the insights and reflections I am gaining from this experience.
As we finish the term, I thank our staff for their dedication and care, our students for their enthusiasm and effort. I also extend my sincere thanks to you, our parents and families, for the support you provide each day. What happens at Marist is made possible by the strength of this partnership.
I wish everyone a safe, restful and enjoyable break. I hope you have an opportunity to slow down, spend time with family and friends, and return refreshed for another term together.
Take care, and God bless.
