Fee Structure 2026
10 monthly instalments from 1 February to 1 November 2026
Years 7–10
$4,340 per year ($434 per month)
Senior College
$4,650 per year ($465 per month)
*5% discount applied if full payment of fees is made on or before 31 March 2026*
(5% discount only applies to the current year, all outstanding debts must be paid prior)
Family Discounts
- 3 children in Tasmanian Catholic schools – 10% discount for each child
- 4 children in Tasmanian Catholic schools – 20% discount for each child
- 5 or more children in Tasmanian Catholic schools – 30% discount for each child
We sincerely ask that parents affected by job losses or financial hardship of any kind please contact the Principal or Business Manager to discuss how we can assist you to make your children’s education affordable at MRC.
We wish to stress that no child should miss out on education at MRC because of financial hardship. Together we can work out a plan that is manageable for individual families.
Senior College Scholarships
Each year, the College awards scholarships to current students in Year 10 and students that are new to the College for the following year. The scholarship can be up to the value of 50% discount on the student’s net tuition fees in both their Year 11 and 12 education at the College.

PROCEDURE
Existing Year 10 and prospective Senior College students are encouraged to apply. To be eligible, students need to fulfill most, but not necessarily all of the criteria. A student’s overall capacity to enhance the life and culture of the College will be taken into consideration.
HOW TO APPLY:
Students are asked to submit a letter demonstrating how they meet the scholarship criteria (no longer than two pages). Please refer to the sample letter format provided. Letter to be submitted to principal@mrc.tas.edu.au
Interview Process:
Students will be required to attend an interview with the Principal.
Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Principal, following consultation with staff and a Scholarship Selection Committee comprising of seven (7) members:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The scholarship will continue during the recipients schooling at Marist Regional College unless their enrolment is withdrawn. A high standard is promoted and encouraged for scholarship recipients.
- In instances where a recipient leaves Marist Regional College to transfer to another local College to continue their education, families may be required to pay back the scholarship funds that have been applied to their tuition expenses to date directly to Marist Regional College. The circumstances of the withdrawal will be taken into consideration and at the discretion of the Principal.
- In cases where families are required to relocate and therefore enrolment is withdrawn, the scholarship will simply discontinue.
- Recipients of the scholarship are expected to positively apply themselves to all aspects of their education and College life. This could be demonstrated by their application to studies, positive attitude, and support and encouragement of others. In instances where a scholarship recipient does not make satisfactory progress, fails to embrace the College mission and values or does not cooperate in all aspects of their education, the Principal may temporarily or permanently withdraw the scholarship.
- Scholarships can be reviewed at the Principal’s discretion.
