Buses

Marist Regional College has bus arrangements with both Metro and local private bus companies.  Please see the supplied document for details on MRC bus routes. Please note this information has been provided by the bus companies and is a guide only. For more up to date or specific information, please contact the bus companies directly on the numbers provided.

Bus drop-off and/or pick-up locations are at the end of the main school in drive and on the access road between the Chanel (Year 7) and McAuley (Year 8) buildings.

It is an expectation of the College that students who travel by bus behave appropriately according to our Personal Responsibility Guidelines. Students whose behaviour threatens the safety and/or wellbeing of others when travelling by bus will receive consequences at school and may be suspended from future travel by the bus company or the College.

College Pick-up and Drop-off Points

A designated drop-off and pick-up zone is located near the student entrance between the Senior College wing and Reception. This area is strictly No Parking and is for quick set-down and collection only.

If you need to leave your vehicle and enter the College, please use the Visitors’ parking spaces located outside Reception.

Chanel and McAuley

Accessed via Futuna Avenue, parents may enter the loop driveway to drop off and collect students near the Year 7 Chanel and Year 8 McAuley buildings. This area is strictly No Parking. Solid yellow lines indicate locations where parking is not permitted.

Please ensure the dedicated bus zone remains clear between 2.45 pm and 3.15 pm.

When using these areas, please be considerate of others and observe speed limits and pedestrian crossings.

Senior College Student Parking

Senior College students on P plates are permitted to drive a car or ride a motorbike to school. Permission from a parent/guardian indicating that the student may or will be driving a car or riding a motorbike to school must be returned to the Senior College Coordinator, including vehicle registration details.

Limited parking is available within the College grounds.  Senior College students who drive to school can park in the dedicated student car park which is located at the start of the ‘in’ drive, on the right-hand side.  Students are kindly asked not to park up the driveway or in the main carpark.
